3 DAY KENYA FLY-IN SAFARI CAMPS & OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY
3 Nights | Premium Flying Safaris
- 3 Nights
Package Overview
Day 1: Nairobi - Fly to Nanyuki, Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Transfer from your Nairobi hotel or residence to Wilson Airfield for the 50-minute flight to Nanyuki airfield. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to the camp (a 30-minute drive) arriving in time for lunch.
You will have a chance to settle in before heading out on an afternoon game drive in the excellent Ol Pejeta Conservancy. This diverse reserve of wooded grasslands, acacia thickets, and evergreen forests is quite simply a wildlife paradise. Home not just to the Big 5, Ol Pejeta is also East Africa's largest stronghold for the highly endangered black rhino and even rarer northern white rhino - there is even a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees!
We visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a charming haven established by the Jane Goodall Institute to provide sanctuary to orphaned chimps, and the specially protected and fenced refuge of black rhinos with its stunning forty specimens!
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Spend today on safari from the beautiful Camp where you can enjoy game drives as well as night drives and walks. Our two-night stay here provides ample time to explore surrounding game reserves. Game drives at Sweetwaters are indeed a pleasure.
Game viewing may also take the form of game walks accompanied by our Resident Naturalist and game rides on horseback. Camel riding, night game drives, and "bush" lunches or dinners are a delight. All the tents overlook a large waterhole so excellent sightings are common even from the camp.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
